In Fall 2014, Olivia Malice, a brother from the Iota Mu Chapter at Georgia College and State University, trans- ferred to Georgia Tech. After learning that there was once a Delta Sigma Pi chapter on campus in the sixties, she decided to work towards reactivating the original Zeta Lambda Chapter, along with Sahithi Solipuram who was our Founding Senior Vice President. A year later, we grew to over thirty members. Recognized as Gamma Iota Tau, the Georgia Tech Colony of Delta Sigma Pi started its journey to get reinstalled at Georgia Tech.
Since chartering as a colony, we have hosted speakers, held workshops, participated in community service, and engaged in inter-chapter socials with brothers at other schools nearby. Representatives from our colony have been present at every national fraternity conference, including two LEAD (Leadership Excellence Academy for Deltasigs) Schools, one LEAD Provincial Conference, and the 2015 Grand Chapter Congress.
We officially got reinstalled on March 5th 2016, and from now on are recognized as the Zeta Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at Georgia Tech.
Now, over a year later, we have grown to 43 brothers currently in our chapter.
